AMERICAN IDOL PERFORMANCES
Chris Daughtry soared through his first audition with approval from judges, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. His edgy voice was a breath of fresh air and the likeable, down to earth personality shone through and earned him a bigger fan base each week. Below is a record of Chris’ performances during the latter rounds of the competition.

Judges Comments: Were positive, Randy Jackson said he could see Chris “going all the way”. Simon Cowell said he was “hearing someone with potential”.

Judges Comments: The judges were mixed in favour of this performance; although Randy Jackson liked it he thought that it was not his best performance. Paul Abdul however, liked it a lot more and praised Chris increasingly.

Judges Comments: On his first performance, Paula Abdul commented that the song sounded good when Chris sang and that “you don’t know how good it is…” until you hear his version. On his second performance, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul loved it but Simon Cowell thought it was “flat”.
